Under the Employee Matching Program, the Foundation matches donations up to $5,000 per employee household per year, so long as the charity qualifies as a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization.
The nonprofit organization must be recognized by the IRS as tax-exempt and as a public charity. The program provides a one-to-one match of up to $5,000 per employee household for every dollar an employee or an employee’s spouse or registered domestic partner contributes.
Direct Support Program
The Direct Support Program provides a venue for employees to request a donation from the Foundation beyond the amounts available to them through the Employee Matching Program. А letter from our foundation director
Kayne Anderson and its employees have always been the epitome of generosity and community service. With the goal of continuing this charitable spirit and making an impact that would last for generations, the Kayne Anderson Foundation was founded in 2011. The vision was to establish a community resource dedicated to supporting and empowering society’s most disadvantaged, whether it be economically, physically, educationally, or socially.
I joined the Foundation as its Director in 2016, and I am thrilled to carry on the great work done before me and to continue upholding its original goals and priorities. Since the Foundation’s inception, our reach in the community and the purposeful work we do has expanded greatly as the firm continues to grow. As an employee-driven Foundation, we take our lead from our employees.
We are focused on supporting non-profit organizations that our employees are passionate about and committed to, via financial support by Employee Matching or Direct Grants, or hands-on support through volunteerism.
The Foundation dedicates time and resources to important areas such as education, job-force training, and civil engagement, which in turn benefits the communities at large.
The Foundation has been proud to embody the charitable spirit inherent in our company’s culture, and I am dedicated to furthering our tradition of giving back to the communities in which we live and work.
